Kwinana is located 30 minutes south of Perth, Western Australia, and has a population of around 43,000 people.

Portolesi Structural was contracted to completed structural grouting and concrete waterproofing work two newly designed water storage tanks. The tanks provide a combined storage of 110 megalitres and are constructed from 270 precast concrete panels. Our engagement included both development, proof of concept and deliver a system that would connect and secure the panels. 

The project required the necessary personnel to complete not only the asset owners' inductions but also a precast tilt-up course, which is a requirement for all tilt-up works in Western Australia.

Once all training and inductions were complete, we worked closely with our client and the asset owner to deliver the program. On a program of this size, you expect to have challenges and changes to the process, but with every challenge and change, we worked with both the client and asset owner to deliver the program successfully.
