Sherwin-Williams Firetex 6002

This week, we took part in trials for a new MMA intumescent coating for structural steel with Samaras Structural Steel.

The Sherwin-Williams Firetex 6002 Is a unique hard wearing ultra-fast curing intumescent coating new to the Australian market. This was a great opportunity to utilise the skills we developed for the ITS works with Chartek at APHS. Without question there will be a market for the 6002 for architecturally finished, weather exposed steel work…..looking forward to seeing it on site.
