Adelaide Desalination Plant

Adelaide Desalination Plant

Under the management of SA Water, the Adelaide Desalination Plant is a $1.824 billion SWRO (seawater reverse osmosis) desalination plant. Constructed to provide the city of Adelaide, South Australia, with approximately 100 gigalitres of drinking water per year, the Desalination Plant has the capacity to supply up to half of Adelaide’s annual water use from desalination. This reduces reliance on the River Murray.

Our expertise and professionalism saw Portolesi Structural commissioned on a long-term project basis, providing ongoing solutions arising from unforeseen structural issues and carry out various concrete repair services.
